Tom spent fifteen years at sea before swapping ships for code. He's now a full-stack developer and runs Purple Hippo Web Studio, where he's spent the last decade building custom Teachable schools.
This course is the one he wishes he'd had when he started: every part of Teachable explained plainly, and the code to go further when the settings run out.

Do I need to know HTML, CSS or Liquid first?
No. Every lesson goes step by step, so you can start from nothing. A little HTML helps, but it isn't required.
What do I need to take the course?
A computer, tablet or phone with an internet connection. For the coding lessons a desktop or laptop is much easier, so you can see the code clearly.
When does the course start and finish?
Whenever you like. It's self-paced, so you decide when to start and when to finish, and you keep access for as long as you want on any device you own.
Is it really free?
Yes, and every lesson is open to read without an account. Sign up (free) if you want your progress saved and the demos that need a signed-in student to work on your own account. The course is how I show what Teachable can do. If you'd rather have it built for your school, that's what Purple Hippo is for.
